SYRIA, Coele-Syria. Heliopolis. Philip I. AD 244-249. Æ (28mm, 15.62 g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Bird’s eye view of the front and side of the temple of Jupiter Heliopolitanus; small altar left, cypress tree right. Sawaya (D91/R178); BMC –; SNG Copenhagen –. VF, dark brown and green patina, light roughness. Well struck.

An interesting obverse die with Greek legends instead of the usual Latin used in Heliopolis.
